Hello to all and anyone interested enough to read my blog! Ive never had a blog before, but from what I hear its just the new "diary". On this blog you can look forward to hearing about what i'm currently working on, and where you might be able to see these works of art in the future. I will post here when I plan on attending a First Fridays event in downtown Philly, or selling art at a festival anywhere in the country. On a day as cold and dreary as today, I'm looking forward to Summer. Sherry and I checked out "Mountain Jam" today online and are making it a goal to be able to haul some art up there to the Catskills this June and get Summer started with some good tunes . Phil Lesh & Friends, Gov't Mule, Widespread Panic and many more will be headlining the festival that begins June 6th and runs for 4 days. The last upstate NY festival that we attended was The Catskill Chill last September, and it left us without a vehicle. Our van is STILL up in Susquahanna County (PA and NY boarder) broke down with one major problem and a bunch of little ones. So we are currently saving for our new ride, and all of the Summer's festival activity depends on the outcome of that. We will keep ya posted.
Today I will be working on a commissioned project for a NY customer who purchased my "Not Fade Away" Valentine's design and added on another piece of art that she would like to have done for the same day. Its a tribute to the song "Broken Arrow" which is a song that her and her fiance have chosen for their TBA wedding song. I'm eager to get started on it. Check back to see progress.
